The Memphis Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter is proud to annouce the selection of Memphis Oral School for the Deaf as their local philanthropy!

Memphis Oral School for the Deaf provides the unique resources hearing-impared children need in order to succeed educationally. The mission of the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf is Empowering Deaf Children to Listen, Learn, and Talk. The Memphis Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter is proud to support them in this mission.

National Philanthropies

Nationally, Delta Zeta supports speech and hearing and The Painted Turtle through the Delta Zeta Foundation. The Delta Zeta Foundation is the giving arm of Delta Zeta and gives to our philanthropic partners.

The Painted Turtle is a summer camp for chronically sick children in California. The children that attend the camp have serious illnesses that prevent them from attending a regular summer camp. At The Painted Turtle they get to experience camp while continuing to receive the medical treatment they need, free of cost.

The Starkey Hearing Foundation's Mission is to change the social consciousness of hearing and hearing matters through education and research; while providing the gift of hearing to those in need around the world.

Gallaudet University is the world's only university with

undergraduate programs accessible to hearing-impaired students.

Delta Zeta funds Gallaudet Scholarships and other funding needs

for the University, including endowment support for the library

and performing arts.
